THE CONFERENCE

The High-Level Defence Conference of DAIMEX Baltic 2026 will take place on 12 May 2026 at the LITEXPO Exhibition and Congress Centre in Vilnius and will bring together senior political leaders, military commanders, defence policymakers, and representatives of the global defence and security industry. 

Conference theme: “Investing in Defence Technologies and Local Capabilities – A Pillar of NATO’s Eastern Flank Defence”.

Held under the Patronage of the President of the Republic of Lithuania and in partnership with the Commander of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, the Conference is the central strategic pillar of DAIMEX Baltic 2026.

It provides a unique platform to:

• enable high-level dialogue between defence policymakers, military leadership, and industry;
• discuss regional and European defence policy priorities, emerging threats, and long-term capability development;
• support the alignment of national and industrial capabilities with NATO defence planning and procurement processes;
• examine the role of the defence and security industry in strengthening resilience across the Baltic region;
• inform stakeholders on industrial cooperation mechanisms, including the Law on Industrial Cooperation and multinational procurement initiatives.

Keynote Speakers:

• Robertas Kaunas – Minister of National Defence of Lithuania
• Andris Sprūds – Minister of Defence of Latvia
• Hanno Pevkur – Minister of Defence of Estonia

Additional speakers—senior NATO representatives, EU institutions, military commanders, and industry leaders—will be announced in the updated programme.
